Matilda
On the 2nd and 3rd of April, 40 Shavington pupils took to the stage to star in the production of Matilda!
The show was a huge success with two sold-out performances!
The pupils worked extremely hard, learning lines, attending after-school rehearsals, and mastering numerous songs and dance routines. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, creativity and talent.
One student shared their experience: "This was one of the best things I have done at school! Not only was it a fun experience, but I also gained new friends whom I would not normally speak to at school."
This production is a wonderful example of how important extracurricular activities are in school life. They provide students with opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork and friendships beyond the classroom, skills that will benefit them for years to come.
