GCSE Results Day 2025

Pupils are celebrating excellent GCSE results today, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey and reflecting the hard work and determination they have shown throughout the year. We must acknowledge the unique journey of the Class of 2025 and commend their dedication, relentless effort, and resilience in earning these fantastic qualifications.

Here at Shavington GCSE results day is more than grades for our pupils, it is the start of the next phase of their journey into further education, training or employment and an opportunity for us to celebrate this with them. All of the staff at the Academy are immensely proud of every pupil and their own individual achievements. We must however acknowledge the following pupils as they secured grade 7-9 in at least 8 GCSE subjects:

Georgia B, Naomi D, Scarlett G, Amber H, Sam M, Harry P and Thomas A. Further congratulations must be given to Isobel P who achieved grade 9 in all 9 of her GCSEs, and a grade 9 in Further Maths as well! Simply amazing!

Headteacher, Emma Casewell said:

We are incredibly proud of our pupils and everything they have achieved. These results are a testament to their dedication, the unwavering support of their families, and the commitment of our staff who have worked tirelessly to guide and inspire them.

This year’s cohort has excelled across a wide range of subjects, securing places at colleges, sixth forms and apprenticeships. Beyond the grades, what stands out most is the character our pupils have shown, they’ve demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and a genuine love of learning. We are excited to see where their journeys take them next.

Celebrations are underway across the Academy with staff and pupils reflecting on their achievements and looking ahead to the future with optimism and confidence. It is important that pupils do remember that they are more than a grade. They are all exceptional, inspiring and talented young people, and we are all extremely proud of them. We wish them all the very best for the next phase of their journey and look forward to seeing them achieve great success.
