GCSE Citizenship Revision
What to Revise
Pupils need to:
- Know the definitions of key words, and 1-2 examples of how each one applies in the "real world".
- Be able to argue for and against different statements on each theme.
- Explain why each thing that we have studied matters, or is relevant, or may affect people.
- Read and understand the arguments of others.
How to Revise
- Practice recalling the definitions of key words, and examples for each - either aloud or written. e.g. create and regularly use flashcards, or look/cover/write/check with the knowledge organisers.
- Use the knowledge quizzes - repeat until you are confident that you will always get 100%
- Use the past exam questions to plan, or write, answers - do you know what you would write for each one? Hand in to your teacher and ask them to give you feedback.
- Read, listen or watch the news - and discuss it with family/friends. Why might they have different opinions?
