Transition to Shavington Academy
We aim to ensure that pupils have the tools and emotional resilience to manage the transition process. We monitor pupils’ academic progress and commitment to learning. As a result, pupils’ motivation, positive attitudes and self-image as learners are maintained and developed.
Our programme includes:
• Transition days for new intake
• Bespoke transition curriculum
• Aspirational assembly delivered by South Cheshire College
• Intake evening for pupils and parents – meet your Form Tutor and members of the Senior Leadership Team
• Induction days to familiarise pupils with layout, teaching staff and systems
